دکتر علی لاریحانی، ریاست مجلس شورای اسلامی ایران، در پیامی به یازدهمین کنگره جهانی زرتشتیان گفت ایرانیان یکتاپرست از دیرباز با آزاداندیشی، عقلانیت و با وجدانی پاک به دنبال حق و آرمان های نیک بودند.
متن کامل پیام رئیس محترم مجلس که توسط دکتر اسفندیار اختیاری در یازدهمین کنگره جهانی زرتشتیان خوانده شد بدین ترتیب است:
برگزاری یازدهمین کنگره جهانی زرتشتیان فرصت مغتنم و شایسته ای در جهت تبیین و بازخوانی آرمانهای این دین توحیدی یعنی اندیشه نیک، گفتار نیک و کردارنیک به شناخت و معرفت درباره این اصول مترقی حیات بشر و حس کمال جویی و معنویت است.
خداوند بزرگ را سپاسگزارم که به مناسبت این گردهمایی معنوی توفیق یافتم مراتب احترام خویش را به شما ادا کرده و بتوانیم گامی در جهت پاسداشت مهربانی و نیک رفتاری و اندیشه پاک برداریم.
ایرانیان یکتاپرست از دیرباز با آزاد اندیشی، عقلانیت و با وجدانی پاک به دنبال حق و آرمان های نیک بودند و در گسترش آن به درستی کوشیده اند. گفتگوی پیروان ادیان الهی با نگاه انسانی و آموزه های بر آمده از دین در شناخت معرفت و گسترش آرامش و اخلاق همواره شایسته تقدیر است.
این گفتگوها می تواند زمینه سازندگی پیوند خورده با صلح و ثبات جهانی بدون تنش و با نگاهی توام با اعتدال و برابری باشد که هدف ادیان الهی نیز بر همین مدار است.
در خاتمه، ضمن سپاس از دوست و همکار ارجمندم جناب آقای دکتر اسفندیار اختیاری نماینده محترم زرتشتیان در مجلس شورای اسلامی به جهت رساندن درود و پیام تبریک اینجانب به شما عزیزان امید دارم این چنین جلسات بحث و گفتگو به خوبی تداوم یافته و با توفیق روز افزون و دستاوردهای ارزشمند برای رستگاری و پیشرفت نسل های آینده همراه باشد.

Message of the Speaker of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Occasion of the 11th World Zoroastrian Congress
The 11th World Zoroastrian Congress provides a stupendous opportunity to explain and reconsider the aspirations of this monotheist religion and to dialogue on the three basic principles of Good Thoughts, Good Words and Good Deeds. It helps us recognize and gain knowledge on these progressive principles of human life as well as sense of spirituality and perfectionism.
I thank God for bestowing upon me, on the occasion of this spiritual gathering, the pleasure of reiterating my respect to you and hope that we can step towards the guardianship of kindness, good thoughts, and good deeds.
The monotheist Persians, with their features of rationality, open-mindedness and conscientiousness, for long, have pursued their noble intentions in addition to justice and have rightly endeavored to disseminate them. Dialogue amongst the followers of divine religions, with the aim of spiritual advancement and development of ethics and peace has always been praiseworthy.
These talks can provide the basis for constitution of a world intertwined with peace and stability and devoid of tension with an attitude towards moderation and equality which is the purpose of divine religions.
In ending, I’d like to thank my friend and colleague H.H. Dr. Esfandiar Ekhtiyari, the respected Zoroastrians’ M.P. of the Islamic Republic of Iran, for delivering my congratulations and felicitations to you, I also hope that such sessions of dialogue and discussion will continue well and bring forth valuable breakthroughs and increasing beneficence for the salvation of future generations.
